Ask Robbie

My nephew is terminally ill. He is in the hospital and not expected to live much longer. I planned to send him airline tickets to visit me a few months ago but he was too ill to make the trip. What can I do for him now that he is in the hospital?

It would help him pass the time to hear from you on a regular basis. Since he missed visiting with you, send him postcards from your area to keep in touch. Ask what music he likes and send him CDs. If he doesn’t have a portable CD player, you can send that too. You might buy extra batteries so his parents won’t have to keep replacing them. If you are available, ask if you can visit to help his parents and spend some time with him.
