Robbie Miller Kaplan is an optimist. She imagines a world where the sick and bereaved are consoled and cared for by friends and loved ones. She's a realist, too. She knows we all want to say and do the right things, but finding appropriate words when you need them most isn't always easy.
When Robbie began her career as an author writing job search books, she had no idea she would eventually write about grief and loss. Robbie writes from a unique perspective as a bereaved mother who has lost a son and a daughter. Her personal experience and understanding of the grieving process motivated her to write "How to Say It When You Don't Know What to Say." It's Robbie's goal to help her readers communicate effectively when their friends and loved ones face challenging times. Her book is now available in e-books for Illness & Death, Suicide, Miscarriage, Death of a Child, Death of a Stillborn or Newborn Baby, Pet Loss, Caregiver Responsibilities, Divorce and Job Loss. All publications are available in Amazon's Kindle Store. Follow her on Facebook. |
